There are countless reasons as to why so many people struggle to eat healthy diets in todays society - especially in American culture.
I am on a mission to help people strengthen and nourish their bodies NO MATTER WHAT - and Real Medicine is a great way of doing that.
Dehydrated beets packed into capsules can deliver nutrition to your body on the go!
Beets are a powerhouse of nutrients!
There are many benefits to working with beet root capsules!
One of my favorite reasons for working with beets is because they are so supportive to our cardiovascular system! (If you haven't watched my class on the cardiovascular system, you can do so by clicking here)
Beets are a natural source of nitrates (be aware of the toxic nitrates used to preserve meats, this is not the same). In our blood, these nitrates are converted to nitric oxide which supports our blood vessels! Nitric oxide helps to relax the blood vessels, improve the flow of blood, and improve oxygen delivery to our heart and other organs!
These nitrates can also increase stamina, endurance, and muscles - making it a great tool to work with before and after working out!
What's great about nourishing the heart is that you are simutaneously nourishing every part of your body, including your brain! Beets have been shown to improve brain health and mood regulation.
Beets are loaded with minerals and nutrients and they help your heart and cardiovascular system to deliver these nutrients to the entire body.
Some of these nutrients include:
- Protein
- Vitamin C
- Calcium
- Magnesium
- Potassium
- Folate
- Selenium
- & much more!
Keep in mind that working with beets regularly can give your stool (poop) a redish tint. It is nothing to be concerned about!
I encourage you to learn more about beets and to start working with them regularly!
Fresh beets straight from the garden are always best, but not everyone is able to grow their food or always has the time to prepare them!
