Withania somnifera

Ashwagandha is a member of the nightshade family and is not recommended for those who have a sensitivity to nightshades.

Ashwagandha is classified as an adaptogen and has been revered for thousands of years. It has been known to strengthen the immune system, support the endocrine system, adrenal fatigue, and mental support with anxiety, depression, and stress management.

These are just a few of the offerings Ashwagandha has for us. This herb is also known for being helpful in reducing the flight or fight response, balancing blood sugar, supporting memory and reducing cell degeneration, sexual function, systemic inflammation, and much more!

For dosage we encourage you to find what is best for you. Some people like to take 2 capsules twice a day, some people only take them in the morning, and some people only take them at night. It is your responsibility to find out how an herb works with your body and which dosage will best benefit you.

Ashwagandha, as with all herbs, has so much to offer us and we always encourage you to study, ask question, research, and work with an herb for yourself.
